This multi-tool was created by John S. Holler in Germany around 1880. The knife actually predates the Swiss Army Knife, which started production about a decade later in 1890.

The knife has 100 functions, including every types of blades imaginable. It has a serrated blade, dagger blades, shears and scissors, an auger, a corkscrew, saws, a lancet, button hook, cigar cutter, pens and pencils, mirror, and straight razor.

But that's not all: This is a knife you can actually bring to a gunfight. It has a fully functioning .22 caliber five-shot pinfire revolver. And as if that ain't enough, the tortoise shell handle covers of the knife open up to hold picks, tools, and even mini folding knives.

If anyone ever asks why you need that thing just tell them sometimes you need 11 different types of scissors on you at a time!

Just carry a Strider, Mike.
It took me WAY too long to realize the Strider is the perfect EDC folder.

I especially like that the straight razor is a folding straight razor with what looks to maybe be an ivory handle.
If that is a 5-shot .22 caliber pistol, I would think the razor is more or less "life sized", and that would make most of those "scissors" more like hedge clippers.

A picture with some scale of it's actual size would be awesome.

Er....I think I'll stick with my SwissChamp, Benchmade/Cold Steel/Spyderco of the day, and Super Edge, thanks. I just...that many pairs of scissors? Really? That looks like it has so much dead weight...

The mini bone saw and kriss style blades are intriguing... :)

I gotta say, it's a cool knife.

I can't imagine that thing being much smaller than a gallon of milk when closed...

All those blades and still using the wrong tool for the job...

[giant knick in straight razor but perfect other blades]

Looking closer, are you sure its not a 2mm pin fire? .22 caliber would be huge for that little thing (not saying your wrong, you have it in hand, I have one photo on a screen) but 2mm pin fire is pretty common, in fact ammo is actually still avaliable today, not that you'd want to fire that old thing, but it'd be cool to have a couple rounds to display with it.

It is a .22 caliber.

That very knife is in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, in Cody, Wyoming.

I saw it about a month ago.
