For those (like me) who have a problem deciding which model to EDC for the day. . .

Looking closer, are you sure its not a 2mm pin fire? .22 caliber would be huge for that little thing (not saying your wrong, you have it in hand, I have one photo on a screen) but 2mm pin fire is pretty common, in fact ammo is actually still avaliable today, not that you'd want to fire that old thing, but it'd be cool to have a couple rounds to display with it.

I'm chalking that one up to under-informed staffers, LOL. Pinfire it is, just like the label reads. Some clerical type who's never heard of 2mm likely thought they "meant .22", and that's what was typed out.

It's part of the Smithsonian's collection, and the Buffalo Bill Center has 3500 guns on display at any time, with at least that many in storage.

I'm guessing they got it right.

Keep in mind, that closed, the knife is probably 8 or 10 inches long.

That has to be a function of a maker just showing off and seeing what they could do. Not praticle, but if I went to a show and saw it on a makers table I seriously look at the other offerings. That took skill.

You are quite a kidder...aren't you, Mike? Mike? Mike?
If that thing came in .44 Special, I'd buy one.
