Just curious how many folks plan to make a user out of theirs or if it's gonna be a safe queen?

This will be my first RMD and I'm planning on putting it to work.

I've not a damn clue as this is my first one too.

I'll wait and see what others have to say about it.

I bought two

I think I'm going to skeletonize the tang on one and see if I can find some material that looks like tiger hide micarta and make some scales with a middle palm swell.

Well, for those of us that only got ONE of them....it's a rather harder decision than those that bought 20 of them. :p

I snagged 3 and I am not a scalping reseller, these are all going in my collection. One, maybe two will be users for sure.

I prefer satin blades for users myself. Its easier to polish scratches and crap off of it than the coated blades. Once the coating starts to go, the blades will never look good again without a full strip and re-coat.

I agree; plus, satin blades are beautiful.

I ordered 3 also, I plan to use 1 and put the other 2 up. Never had a RMD so alot depends on how it performs.

Gah damn it. :p
If I had more than one, I would use one as often as I can while saving the other.

I'm seriously thinking of using this knife as Eric just told me that it carries unconditional warranty for life. Providing I don't destroy it by putting it under a NASA rocket, I'm sure people wont mind buying it used later on for more than I paid for....who knows.

Oh, just get one to play with and one to look at.

I had to fight the urge to do that, but I really don't want to buy a knife or gun I don't intend to use so I stuck with one. I'm thinking about getting a rodent solution with what I would have spent on a second one. :)

My wife is going to kill me.

My wife already killed me ,this is my eternal spirit ordering this stuff and I'll be the 1st. to say he has good taste,I'm going to use mine.

Hahahaha, that's awesome!!

I picked up a 4th so I can keep one in my work laptop bag and another in my excursion backpack. 2 users, 2 queens!! I have only been collecting Busse and kin for about a month now, I am going to jump on every deal I see to own something factory fresh. I am not a fan of being raped in the aftermarket, however, I have gotten some great deals lately from some honest members.

Actually forget trying to find tiger hide micarta, I just bought a NICE block of stabalized koa from Burlsource. Im going to do that with a natural micarta bolster and some stainless pins. Should look sick!

Just a though anyone that bought 3 is a 1 percenter. ;)
Ultimately, I ordered 2. My hope is to put them to good use. I like options and with all my recent RMD variants, I have that covered. Until another variant is offered, at least.

This is my second RMD. I don't know what I am going to do with it other than keep it. I prefer blades without finishes, although I have some with coatings like my Sage RMD. I'll probably use my Sage RMD and leep the LE pristine, or for light duty.

Much like BiteMe, I've already passed on. I'm sort of an UnDead Physicist ... this gives me the leisure to order that extra knife, given that ... having already died ... it's much tougher for my wife to off me again.:)

That said, it's usually a good idea to get more than one, when you come across a design that really hits the spot.
