For those of you getting a RMD LE...

This will be my 4th RMD, I only picked up one LE but it'll be a light user :)

Sigh.

Yeah. I've got the Ratweiler (several), the Chopweiler (kept only my favorite), the original RMD ... well, you get it.

The addiction is a real, tough b@@@@@@.

Actually forget trying to find tiger hide micarta, I just bought a NICE block of stabalized koa from Burlsource. Im going to do that with a natural micarta bolster and some stainless pins. Should look sick!
Look forward to seeing this! I actually sold my RMD because it was not thick enough for my hands. A RMD LE with a fat koa handle sounds GREAT!

Sounds like you have too many Ratweilers.....send one my way to lighten your load. :)

I just ordered all my material. Im beyond stoked. Im going to try to channel my inner Andy Roy and do a 1/8th canvas liner with a .30 Orange G10 stripe on top of it with a Natural Canvas bolster, Koa handle and 3 Stainless .25 Corby bolts.

Ill have to stack the materials and see how they look when they get here but in my mind it looks pretty cool.

ambitious!! :D I can't wait to see how this one turns out

Awesome kalel! Keep us updated! I asked eric before saturday if it was posible to pay extra for tigerhide, he said no :(

I am going to have a hard time deciding whether to use the rmdle or my knoboganzaa rmd bowie...

Probably will use it. That is usually the idea and purpose.
Usually, but not always. Some folks will collect them because they just enjoy owning fine knives. Others will put them up for the purpose of selling them at a profit or trading them later. Despite the prevailing (and somewhat naive) POV expressed around these parts, there is no wrong reason for purchasing Bussekin knives.
