For those of you who sharpen INFI on a belt sander....

From INFI to lawnmower blades to slipjoints to axes.

+1

I like that grinder. I've used a 2FSM Kalamazoo for almost ten years, and it's been a great machine, but probably more than I need. Looks like yours might be a little slower, which is a good thing.

I'm a fan of the grinder.

What knife is that? Looks like a Fehrman.
As for the grinder, I was told that the best compromise is one that uses a two inch belt.

It does kind of look like a fehrman now...

It's a swamprat chopweiler that I removed the saber grind from and convexed the blade/edge and satin finished it.

As for the best grinder, I prefer a one inch for sharpening.

It's my friends knife I took the saber grind down to a convex grind, he wants me to satin the rest of it, as it used to be gun blued, but it's a PITA without pulling the handles. I'm sure i'll get bored enough and hand satin it. I might do it if I get bored sitting at home one night just as a little project.

My god is it sharp.
