For those that own a Benchmade Griptillian Fixed...

I have one....

I was planning on parting with it, but it has grown on me, over time.... That and I got a smokin' deal on it.

I will take a comparison shot, maybe with a Spyderco Moran and a Mora?

I dislike thumb ramps as a general rule of thumb. Neither ironic nor a pun, deliberately at least..... But, if one has to have a thumb ramp this one is not too bad, not especially grippy, but that will save your thumb some anguish.

I don't have a measurement of the scales for you, right now, but I can say that they are pretty boxy, with just a slight curve over the face. This knife definitely could use some after-market scales...

It has a more substantial feel to it, compared to a Mora type knife, more of a 'tactical/practical' sort of thing....

I like the grip shape, very universal.

I think this knife is more of an EDC slash 'tactical' sort of knife, rather than a bush tool.

All for now, tell me if I can help more....

Here's my mod'd fixed Grip. Ground off the thumb ramp and jimping to reduce hot spots. Thin handle, but at only 4.7 ounces and 154CM stainless, it makes it a great hiking/backpacking blade for the weight conscious. The sheath is not well reviewed, but I like it as the molle can be strapped to anything, or worn horizontally on the belt:
