I use that stuff on a Cold Steel Bushman. Works well. It wears thin after a while, but is easy to touch up.

bkkd, you have me intrigued enough to go out and purchase a can of this stuff. How/what did you do to prep the handle before you dipped it? How many times did you dip it? Did you dip it with the knife sheathed? How has it held up?

washed it with dish soap, dried it and then
just dipped it in the sheath and hung it from a nail in the kitchen. did it about 7 times. it really feels good.
