For those who carry multiple folders

As a lefty I double carry every day. A dedicated lefty and a righty. Recently I have added a fixed blade on my back horizontal. So I can draw it south Paw. But yes always with the blade tip up against the inseam. If someone should happen you always want a way out. Always.

For me, it's normally one knife clipped to the front right pocket and a smaller one in the watch pocket. The clip doesn't matter for the smaller one. It's never come close to falling out.

I often carry two folders, a SAK Cadet for smaller tasks, and a folder for more demanding tasks.

I carry two from time to time. If there are two, the second is usually a modern clipped to my rear pocket. I generally don't concern myself with modifying clips or much tinkering at all on knives. I use them they way they come and if I don't care for them, they get dumped in my knife tub (in the box if I still have it). So, the dumping is not really a haphazard thing. After they reside there, I may look at them once a year or so.

Is the primary reason to switch clips to prevent the knife from opening in the pocket or for one handed deployment with the non-dominant hand?
Both are typical for those that carry one in each front pocket. Most like the closed blade to be against the inseam. Most also prefer to be able to access the extra knife with the non-dominant hand.

I carry a credit card knife in my wallet as backup to my main when I'm not traveling, but have never had to use it.
