Hey guys,

Didnt want to make anyone feel off here, and Im not trying to send people to other sites, but I thought I would share anyther site that hes some diffrent but equally good info.

Specificly, I found a review of a AMK heatsheat over on bush craft UK. It was put through 37 days of test, withstood thunderstorm, with heavy winds( brought down trees) rain and more less 37 days of crap weather, if anyone was interested in this product, I say go for it!:D

i read that review a while ago and ended up tossing one of these into each of my kits and two in my car.

for six bucks they're a great investment. there was also a review done by kgd and foxhole on the forums here.

great stuff thanks for sharing

Looks like an extremely useful AND durable item. Staggeringly comprehensive review there, how'd that cat get in on the bushcraft pix:eek:

They are really great products! The double size is well worth the extra $1.50 and 1.5 oz difference than the single size. I'll check out that review tonight after work.

Looks good, thanks for posting!

Hey Fonly, I just noticed that MEC has the thermolite 2 emergency bivvy also. (Interesting it is the same cost as what I paid in U.S. Funds). Scoop that up if you get a chance with your heat sheets!

kgd, I was considering the AMK bivy. Care to share an evaluation on it for us? I was shocked to see that the price had more than doubled. Is it that much better than the original bivy?
