Here are two of my favorite things.

Indeed. That looks like a happy couple. Almost like peas and carrots. Cool pic man.

I tried to put together a small pistol collection, but after a few years, I have gotten rid of them all except my Glocks. The empty space in my safe was replaced with knives. More than I need and not as many as I'd like to have. So you know I got that going for me.

Happy Friday.

What say you get rid of that German garbage and get yourself some American steel to go with your American steel? How about a Colt 10mm? Not that plastic BB gun that shoots .40 S&W (Short and Wimpy)!

Ah what a picturesque view. I used to have a happy couple similar to yours. That was until my RC-3MIL started cheating on my G22 and found its way into the arms of a Sig P229. Since then, they have been happily ever after.

p.s. jvthor, glock is made in austria

Actually, many of the frames are made in Smyrna, Georgia. They say Smyrna on the frame. The slides and barrels are all done in Austria due to the tennifer process that the EPA has said no to. Some are imported as complete pistols and go to Smyrna where they have the sights and other things changed then shipped out to distributors. The discarded sights, etc are only on the pistol to meet the BATFE point requirement for import.

Isn't 10mm and .40 Smith and Wesson the same thing just different names

Gotta love combat tupperware. Have had many other types but none with little to no mods, upgrades or parts changing required to be as reliable.

10mm and .40 S&W are very close in diameter (less than a mm i believe). The difference is in penetration, stopping power, and muzzle velocity (which the 10mm dominates in all catagories). Sorry, but i don't mean to hijack. This still relates to the Glock, right?

Thanks for the info.

I was told that...

9mm was like a .357 SIG
10mm was like a .40 S&W
11mm was like a .45 ACP

10mm and .40 cal are EXACTLY the same diameter bullet. The .40 came about when the FBI decided against the 10mm so they shortened the case and named it .40 S&W. The cartridge over all length is similar to the 9mm so that the same frame could be used for both (9mm and 40). 10mm gives a greater velocity due to more powder thus greater foot lbs of energy (fpe). The 10mm also has a bigger diameter barrel and larger frame due to the increase in pressure.

Obviously Glocks are garbage since there are infinite numbers of them in service by people who trust their lives to them. Luckily the Colt Delta Elite 10mm never had a history of frames cracking from recoil. Oh wait....

My bad. It's a German company though, right? I still would never buy one.

You're missing out. Most Glock bashing comes from 13 year old armchair commandos and guys who have never shot one. I have thousands of rounds downrange with my 3 Glocks. They affordable, accurate and ridiculously reliable. I can see why some wouldn't like them.

Think of 10mm and .40 S&W in the same way as .357 Magnum and .38 Spl. Same bullet, just longer case and increased case capacity.

My favorite two aswell.. I have a glock 22 unfortunatly up here the only time they come out of the safe is at a range..

Nice photo. I carry my Glock 21 (45 ACP) and my RC-3MIL. I want to get a RC-4 or ESEE 4 next.

I've owned a variety of handguns from Hi-Powers, 1911's, HK, SIG and probably some I forgot to mention. I've carried a Glock 22 as a duty gun for over 8 years (in my old department) and owned probably 10 or more Glocks over the years with no problems. They definitely make you spoiled because of the reliability!
