Cool, my only worry is the kooks that may wind up mailing stuff to troops. I know when I was deployed we were able to mail letters home free.
 
Yes, yes, yes! Hell yes! It is the least we can do for our guardians. I did my part now you must make the decision to support this bill or not!

is this a part of the $850B stimulus? I love the troops as much as anybody, however I always question the governments motivation to make some thing free. I don't actually have a problem with paying to ship stuff over seas, however I do think that the USPS should ship it at cost. Nothing is ever free, and when the government makes if free they are probably spending twice what they need.

I don't agree or disagree, I just don't know enough about it.

I agree that we should make it easier to mail packages to troops, but it should also include sailors. I will send a letter off. Thanks, Brook - US Navy, AT2, 5 years, USS Independence, USS Kitty Hawk, 3 Persian Gulf deployments.
 
Our men and women in the military deserve nothing but the best for helping to keep this great country free. Thank you Jim for pointing this out. Letter is in the mail.

I know when we were on a det the mail would go to our origional duty station and then be shiped by military's mail. So the USPS only had to send it to our base in CONUS. But I do agree it should be easier.
