This is a Robert Carter F-16 flipper framelock, his midtech version. It has been modified with a full 'shipwrecked' finish by Recalcitrant American, to include a black oxide finish on the blade and an orange peel clip. It is razor sharp and appears to be unused/uncarried (given the finish...). The double ground tanto is 3 1/2" long, and OAL open is 8". It locks up with great authority and is solid as a rock. Blade centers when closed. The flipper action is lightening smooth on its bearings. The fit and finish is of a high quality, made entirely in the USA, and the knife is relatively slim but quite stout. List on these was $420 - the mods were $100 - and they are hard to find now.
