For trade are three fountain pens, all of which I have used. The Parker 51 is a medium nib, and I will miss it, but I want knives more than pens at this point. The jewel on the cap is in great shape, and the sac was replaced 5 years ago. The cap has light scratches from use, and the clip has a slight bend to it (hardly noticeable). This pen truly writes like a dream. I paid $85 for it a few years back from a re-seller on Fountain Pen Network that buys, restores, and re-sells Parkers.
The TWSBIs are a 530 (clear) and a 540 (smoke). Both are extra fine nibs. I liked the TWSBIs, but they were a bit too scratchy (to me), unless I was using Clairefontaine/Rhodia-type products. When I was taking pictures, I found what appear to be two cracks in the plastic. I hadn't noticed them before taking the pictures, but I imagine it's because I dropped it at some point. I haven't had any issues with leaking or refilling in the pen, but I want to be clear about the damage before trading for anything. These pens are designed to come apart easily, so imagine the replacement part is easily found. The TWSBIs were ~$50 each and both models have since been discontinued.
I only have a basic box for the Parker 51 (not original to the pen), and I do not have boxes/documentation for the TWSBIs as I never intended on getting rid of them, but there you have it.
I will ship USPS Flat Rate. U.S. only please (I don't want to deal with any Customs issues). I will consider reasonable cash offers, but I thought a trade might be more interesting.
Items I'm looking to trade for:
- Nearly any Swamp Rat/Busse
- Bushcraft type fixed blades (prefer saber and flat grinds over Scandi but will still consider Scandi)
- Small carbon steel EDC blades (prefer bird & trout/wharncliffe/sheepsfoot patterns, but open to others)
