Black micarta handle, liner lock, single steel liner, steel backbar, OAL is just a shade under 7.75”, right hand/tip down carry.
Blade is 3.25” from the tip to the handle scale, AUS 8 steel, half serrated, numbered 780.
I picked this up just a little while back, looking to see if anyone has something else I might like for it. I haven’t carried the knife or cut anything with it at all. It’s only come out of the box to take pictures.
The blade and edge are in excellent shape. There is some discoloration around the pivot cover on the front side. The lockup is solid but the blade is not centered when closed. It comes closest to the liner down at the tip, but does not touch the liner. There is a bit of resistance when opening the knife, which may be due to the off center blade. Adjusting the pivot may alleviate this. The clip has some scratches and wear marks. A bit of the black has come out of the TZ logo on the blade. The pictures below should illustrate all of these points, but if you have any other questions, please ask.
The knife comes with original box, warranty card, plastic bag and catalog.
Knife will be shipped Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. 5 day inspection period on the trade, we can swap back if you’re not satisfied.
In return… I like Spydercos, perhaps a plain edge hawkbill model. I also like Benchmades, have been looking for a plain edge 330, 450 or 850. I might go for a nice slipjoint trapper or congress too. All offers are welcome, but no fixed blades please.
