This is my watch made by a single craftsman at H2O Watch company in Germany (www.H2O-watch.com). Clemens Helberg is the proprietor and craftsman who specializes in fully customizable watches. He makes watches out of damascus, mokume gane, and even has a watch that is damascus titanium! He makes the damascus himself. All watch parts are made in Germany, and he custom finishes the most current ETA movements, so your watch has a superb engine.

He has very attractive, original designs and is an absolute pleasure to work with. His watches walk the walk....most of his watches are waterproof to 3000M...even this damascus beauty. They are a hefty 45mm wide and 18mm thick. Complemented by a beautiful 24mm leather strap. All from a single maker.

If you are a watch nut like me, and really appreciate something special...I encourage you to check out his website. Clemens has some really fantastic projects going on.

Regards,
Ron

I don't even want to know what you spent on that...

Forget Rolex, that is the nicest watch I've ever seen.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

surprise!....It's about half the price of a new Rolex....

$4k

I've owned many watches. Rolex, IWC, Omega, Panerai....all of them. This wins hands down.

Regards,
Ron

I'll add that for your money you get a single maker devoting about 80 work hours to your watch. Now, how can you beat that???

ETA 2824 or 2892? I couldn't get a real good look through the display back but it looks like a 2824.

Clemens regulates the movement to better than COSC specs...generally + or - 3 sec/day or better.

Wow, thats amazing and only 4K? I paid $8400 for my Submariner last December and this has it beat hands down. A full custom watch, I didn't even know makers did this. I kinda feel sick to the stomach right now.

check out his website. www.H2O-watch.com

Clemens has some great watches in materials that nobody else does..... like Tungum, bead blasted Ti, mokume, and titanium damascus. He also developed a system (the ORCA system) in which you can interchange dials with watch cases. Completely original and executed beautifully.....German Engineering!

Extremely reasonable prices with fantastic customer service. His dial designs are also unique...and come in many colors/variations.

He is a knife nut like us....makes his own damascus knives...but extended his talent to watches, and it really shows.

Nice looking, but making a diving watch (intended for use in water) from non-stainless damascus makes no sense. Also, for 4K$, I would expect something higher-end than a 2824 movement.

Not every dive watch is for diving, but you make interesting points. It sounds modular and even custom, Can he upgrade the movement? And which would you think appropriate?
