Matt, that style, exactly, is very common in forge shops throughout the world. Running a powerhammer 12 hours a day would be tough on the feet check these guys out, same gig.

The chairs are usually hung from a light gantry hook or just from a pivot, very mobile around the shop or around the hammer.

Sam , a good project for you would be to make a water powered wheel and hammer. There are some good creeks here for that !
