For You New Englanders.....

I'll miss the knife show, but I'll be in Boston April 18-19-20-21. I'm planning on meeting Larry, he lives a half hour north. I have to be back in Michigan for the 23rd to attend my own club's big show in Detroit area on the 23rd.

Now... I need to take a knife with me. No, I don't feel a need for a defensive piece, as everyone in that very liberal-baseball loving city will certainly love me. But what have I read? A blade only an inch and a half in length? Besides, I have to travel through Canada to get there.

Hmm... My favorite pearl handled toothpick (Gen Patton said only pimps carried pearl handled pistols, but Jerry Fisk states that a gentleman should carry a MOP scaled pocket knife) is out, blade too long. And that Walther Allied Forces with the cool wood handle insert is probably a little much and although I look forward to exploring the Boston Subway system, I don't wanna see the inside of the local pokey. My Gerber Yari in the custom leather, crossdraw, butt-forward sheath is obviously out As is the Becker BK9 that rides in the back of my truck. A nice utilitarian, harmless Swiss Army knife? Naw... I want somthing to put Boston firmly in it's place. I'll think on this. One possibility is the neat little Case toothpick I got from Bill (our El Lobo).

Anyway, I'll be staying in Woburn, and do very, very much look forward to meeting a couple of you guys!

Phil

ps... As per the naked broad in the photos that Bill is positive he saw: Bill, I beleive you! I just didn't see it. Maybe I don't live right.

Thanks Phil, I now think of this forum as my favorite support group for any and all that ails me. :)
There was some strange goings on around that first picture, but with all the crashes, it now appears to be a good old Golden Spike, with a few unusual traits. I'd like to make it to Boston one time, hunt for old Schrades, and hope to see the Red Sox and Yankees go at it in Fenway.

Hope it works out for you folks. :)

Bill
