I just think it might be difficult to clamp it in securely. The bevels may prevent the clamp from tightening properly. Furthermore, the side not being sharpened may not set properly on the depth gauge. I guess I'll just have to wait and see....

Which gen Wicked Edge are you using?
 
I don't think there would be much of a problem on the WE.
