Force One, I'm sweating bullets!

Here's a toothy one.

They are really nice in the hand. Would be good for opening beer can's.lol

I think Operation Two Weeks has depressed the secondary market generally, although seemigly not for this knife in particular. Busse Collector says the Force One wase $287 in glorious satin INFI when they were released in 2004. When I started looking for one around 2009, they could sometimes be had for under $500 (although they were always gone before I saw them at that price). Now based on what I've seen in the Exchange and on the auction site, they seem to be around $800. I doubt I would have been willng to pay that if I could have gotten a Battle Grade version for a couple hundred, or a CG for a hundred or so more.

I am sooooooo buying at least one if Jerry lets the Force One in any version outta the compound!!!!

As Cobalt said the release of ASHBM didn't effect prices much. Jerry's pretty sharp, the new releases of an old design are always some what different, that the older knives are still unique in there own right & thus still demand a premium over the new releases. Another example is release of LBAA. AA still demands a premium.

I really don't understand the redesign of the AA. The 10th Anniversary was damn near perfect. I bought a couple of the AA LBs (and the Terror Monkey version), but I really wish I could have bought the 10th Anniversary design instead.

I got one down in the shop now in 1095 already cut out and shape done, ready to grind. Of course mine will look like the ugly cousin compared to the real Busse. But I absolutely love this blade.

Lawrie,
Time to play the lotto if there's one near by! While the new FOs are interesting, I personally don't think any of the 3 hold a candle to yours.
Happy Thanksgiving from the States!

I am sweating bullets about getting a Ruck-FORCE ONE in the Ganza tomorrow morning. I've been needing a good Busse sword to finish out my zombie arsenal and more practically to use clearing shooting lanes for hunting season. I like the abrupt tip sweep, it seems as if it would help keep it from hitting a lot of stuff and chipping while chopping and having some serious penetration capabilities

I think it will have the opposite effect, the current offerings will just increase the demand and desire for the original force one driving up the price as the current offering doesn't come close to that original force one knife.
