i picked up a force one from the co. store and realized this knife doesn't have a penetrator tip. maybe i am confused about what this actually is :( i thought it was the special point grind on the pd like the picture at the badmojo site. anyone else have one to compare?

also has anyone used this blade yet? i want to but that satin finish just screams "safe queen" to me.

thanks for the reply voracious. the info on this blade if you remember said it had four distinct grinds
1)primary blade grind
2)20 degree angle tip grind
3)penetrator tip grind on top of point
4)deep dish hollow grind on spine of knife

so i assume the penetrator tip was ditched when it went into production or does somebody own a F1 with this grind?

I got two F1's (one satin on black paper) (one Black canvas on Black crinkle)

Both look like the pic posted. I've used the Black on Black, not much of a slasher, but it is a stabber. I kept stabbing it into piles of sheet rock, and phone books, and rocking the knife back and forth to get it out. It is real fun :D I was waiting for the ice to build up in the back yard so I could stab the frozen lawn with it....

I have Satin on Black Canvas.

The knife is great.

Only one thing keeping me from carrying it.

No Sheathe...

Jerry, please send them to the sheathe makers!

i really like mine too  out of curiosity what kind of sheath would you get cabbit? i think a "hunted" style carry would be cool

i think a tip that agressive could be called "penetrater"

i'll ask jerry when he sobers up, he drank 7 gallons of j blue last night :barf:
