i got my forced air burner made this weekend. now all i need to do is plumb it to the propane tank.

for a temporary solution would it be safe to use a 10 psi regulator and a vlave to control the gas pressure until i can get the adjustable regulator set up?

i realize this may not be optimum. but is it safe?

I would wait until you get an adjustable regulator. I start my forge at about 1 1/2lbs, once it's heated up to temp I turn the pressure back to about 1/2 to 3/4s lbs. It would really suck if your forge exploded on its maiden firing.

Lp gas regulator, Fisher 67-743 or 67-683, I got mine through my local lp gas supplier.
