Forced patina competition finish

Anyone ever do an acid etch like all the custom makers in the traditional section do?
 
I did a patina on my cf bwm yesterday.

This is after 4 times heating the blade to 220 to 250 degrees F smearing liberally with spicy brown and leaving in the oven until dry.
I think it looks pretty cool. i will try for better pics.

Damn that looks good, nice job, what was the final temp you heated blade to, how long did you leave it coated with Mustard

Meat, raw or cooked, seems to leave a light stain on INFI.

So maybe if you wrap the blade in bacon and bake it.....
