The original owner did a really good job on it. The jimping is what really made me like it.

Anyone know how to achieve this effect?

Planning to try some ferric acid on SR-101 this week. Wish I could get it to look like they do at Zombie Tools.

My guess is that they use some sort of coated cloth/paper towel, or something like that in order to get the splotchy look.

But that's just a guess.

Maybe try lightly blotting it on with a sponge?
