Forcing patina on Gayle Bradley.

I have one of the newer GBs, and I didn't have any issues taking it apart, there looked to be some threadlocking stuff on there, but it didn't take me any more effort than the usual blue stuff

I know this is a long dead thread, but whatever. I just got a gayle Bradley and forced a patina and I'm not stoked with the results. I used vinegar and lemon just (seperately) and managed to get a relatively dark patina, but the entire hollow grind on one side pretty much refuses to darken, so the knife looks pretty strange. All gray patina with one shiny bevel. I cleaned it numerous times and even hit it with some steel wool to try to get it to take a patina but it just doesn't want to. Now I'm coating just that area with apple cider vinegar trying to match it to the rest of the knife. I don't wasnt to soak the whole blade because the rest of it is dark enough. I'm not sure what to do. Any advice?
