Foredom advice

One useful accessory for a flex shaft is a box of 'Q Tips' with the wood shaft. Cut each in half and chuck 1/2 in a #30 handpiece and you have a great buffing wheel for tight places. Charge the q-tip with whatever compound you need.

The wood q-tips are available in the baby department of most drug stores. I know that CVS pharmacy carries them.

Stacy....or anyone else: Does anyone know of a repair facility for Foredom? I have a MMC checkering tool that needs a new cable attached. I have looked at the unit and cannot figure out how it all connects together. Thanks.

Damn Stacy, the accessory kit was the dealbreaker for me...guess I'll just have to settle for a regular old Foredom like Laurence posted a link to way back near the start.
That thing looks like it is a setup for some sort of maniacal dentist or such to me....

When doing precise work, I sometimes use two or three flex shafts with different bits or attachments. This saves changing the hand piece or burr constantly.

Aha, should of known--you should never be surprised when you are dealing with those at the top of the mountain of any discipline!! Good on you Stacy!
