  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Forefather Bowie use reviews?

I probably gave away about 80 ish bottles to all my friends before I left and my son in law took the rest, which was maybe 20 more. I am missing one or two boxes of whisky. One box being a little pricey as it had a Laphroaig, 25, laphroaig 30, Macallan Oscuro, Macallan estate reserve and several more rare laphroaigs

My mouth is watering just reading that. Still got all your Octomore and ardbegs?

Octomore is safe and sound and my ardbegs are mostly here, I think there may be a few in those missing boes. But most made it. The one I cant wait to open is the Port Charlotte 18 year. Bought it but never got a chance to try it.

I keep walking by it in our TW constantly eyeing that. I'd assume you would have tried that one a while back cinsidering all you have

I tried it, and bought it. But I have not opened mine yet and I don't remember it except that it was one of the better peated scotches I have had. But tastings always seem to be better than when you sit down with a bottle. Another two brands I have which I really like lately are Lagg and Ardnahoe. Excellent stuff and it doesn't break the bank

o_O

Dang!!!

Where'd you move to, if you don't mind my asking? Different part of town, out of the state?

Out of state to Idaho. Kids are still in Denver. So will be there a few times a year.
Good for you, congrats! I hate to leave my native state, but I'm seriously considering going North myself in 15-20 years when I retire to get away from the crowded craziness. Probably WY.

Glad to hear you love the new place!
It’s a beautiful & peaceful area👍🏼
I hope you find your boxes of special bottles (soon!)

The funniest part is that on my last drive here, I drove our pickup and car out. I loaded the pickup down so much it looked like the opening scene of Sanford and sons. Anyway, my mom added three bags to the truck which made me realign everything. Well we lost one bag out of the whole truck load. It was mine and it had all my daily shoes in it. So I have been wearing the same shoes for 3 weeks along with flip flops.
