Forge Body?

I've been looking to build an Indian George-style forge for a while now but couldn't seem to find any suitable scrap tubing. As I was pulling into my garage tonight, lo and behold, there is an old steel fire extinguisher body that I salvaged from work for whatever reason. I'm wondering if this thing is worth the trouble? Does this thing have forge body potential?

It's cleaning up nicely, folks. I, on the other hand, am covered in "Purple K" (the extinguishing agent).:D I am hacksawing off the cone at the end because I can fit my hand in the hole in order to eventually line the sucker; not too bad, the steel is soft enough.

How crucial is the location for the burner tube hole? Is a couple or four inches to the opening too close? I'll snap some more pics but it may be a while due to the holidays.
