I'm buying Darren Ellis' 3/4" venturi burner. What size entry port do I need for my forge? I have a lot of 1 5/8" schedule 40 so will this be fine to use with this burner? Thanks guys.

If you mean the tube the burner slides into, any size that is about 1/2" larger than the burner will work. It can be as much as 1" larger ( this will allow changing the burner to a larger one later). Weld three 3/8" nuts over holes drilled in the tube ( at 120 degree intervals), and use bolts to lock the burner in place.
