Well, I see you got it fixed... but that's a SUPER simple fix. Any propane supplier I've ever been to has a small shop with an area to make up hoses.

I've fixed dozens of oxy/acet lines and propane hoses like this. It's a matter of cutting the hose off past the hole. Then grinding the crimped ferrule off, and removing the barbed fitting.

Put a new ferrule on, seat the barbed fitting in the hose, and crimp the new ferrule. Edited to add... we use a crimping tool made by Vise Grip just for this job. NEVER try to do it with something like pliers. :)

It took you as long to read that as it would take me to fix it.

The propane shops around here would cut the hose off and put a new crimped ferrule on for you in a few minutes and charge you like $4.
