Hey there, I'm building a forge and would like to know if I can use the 1/4" #8 density Kaowool wrapped 4 times to make it 1" thick or more because I found I can get a 25' roll of it cheaper than ordering a 3' piece of 1" Kaowool. Amy drawbacks? Where does everyone else buy theirs? My tank is an old compressed air tank 23" long by about 34" in circumference. Thanks
