This one may not appeal to somebody wanting the typical EDC, but it's very popular during hunting season for the fine skinning or caping chores. The handle is long, letting it have more reach or resting on the wrist with a finger out on the spine. The extended belly gives a lot of cutting edge without risking a point going where you don't want it to be. This curly maple really has great deep figure out in the sun. Pins and lanyard tube are brass. Custom fit sheath is ready and included in the price. Spec's are:
OAL: 7"
Blade: 2" tip to ricasso
Width: 1"
Thickness: 3/32" at ricasso
Price: $75.00 includes shipping CONUS. PayPal (ruger315@bellsouth.net) check or money order.

FYI also. I've bought knives in this configuration for my kids for whittling and rough wood carving. lots of handle for leverage and control, and short blade to limit the damage capacity. :-) Just a thought...

ps: gorgeous knife. fighting the urge. just spent all my toy $$s but I want one like this too.

cheers,

Good thought! I guess we sometimes spend too much time trying to place a blade in some style. A good knife is a multifunctional tool!
Thanks,
Rick
