Forged 01 EDC/Skinner Bone Handle

This one is very similar to one I made for myself about 8yrs. ago. Still have it and it makes every hunting trip. Great for dressing any game with the little wider belly and full shape. I know somebody is going to say that the handle slabs are too short. Part of the design to allow the second finger and thumb to wrap around the spine and choil area with the first finger up towards the tip for even more control. Blade is edge quenched, hand rubbed 600g satin finish. Handle is bone with a light aged patina, pins and lanyard tube are brass, leather thong with brass and bone slider. Here's the whole package. Thickness: 5/32"
Sheath: Custom fit, stamped right hand carry top veg-tan leather.

Yup, the grip you described is great for field dressing and the thumb and forefinger on the choil area gives great control too.
