Here's a forged larger hunter in 01 tool steel with a highly figured curly walnut handle. This is a good sized blade and handle, but balances just behind the guard. The blade is hand rubbed to a satin finish with a very light etch that just shows the transition line from a final edge quench. These pictures don't do justice to the curl that shows in the walnut. The sheath is custom made to fit this blade only. It's top grade veg-tan, hand sewn with neatsfoot oil natural finish. Spec's are:
AOL: 10 1/2"
Blade length: 5" to guard
Width: 1 1/8"
Thickness: 1/8" at ricasso
Steel: 01, triple quenched, triple tempered
Handle: Curly walnut, stainless guard and pin
