This is patterned after the rifleman's long knife. It's a bit shorter than the traditional, but still has the same "look". The blade is 01, edge quenched and a light etch. This is a through tang threaded into the butt cap. Handle is elk antler and the guard, spacer and butt cap are all old wrought iron. I've used a light etch on the wrought to show the nice lamination of the metal. The sheath is soft leather over a veg-tan core. All the bead work is hand done with tin cones and copper beads. Tough work for old gnarly fingers, but worth the time. Spec's are:
OAL: 9 1/2"
Blade: 4 1/2" to ricasso
Width: 1"
Thickness: 3/32" at guard
Price: $198 includes shipping CONUS. PayPal (ruger315@bellsouth.net), check or money order SOLD

Spectacular! I love the elk handle and wrought iron guard. They compliment each other well.

I am completely happy with this knife. Very good workmanship and materials. It arrived pretty fast. It feels good in the hand, and is extreamly sharp. Thanks.
