Here is my latest kitchen slicer, for a knife exchange. Forged 01, 6 inch blade with a bit if a point, which my other ones do not have. Aircraft aluminum guard with Birdseye Maple handle with gunstock finish, and a welding rod pin to keep it all together. I usually make the handle taper some towards the blade, but this one has a thinner handle so it did not seem like it needed it.
