Here is a nice little blade that I forged from some of Mace and Aldo's 1084.

I didn't get a shot of it, but it has a forged tapered tang.

Forged 1084
Bocote Handle Scales
Stainless Pins
OAL - 8"
Blade Tip to Handle - 3 3/4"
Sheath Included

This one is "SOLD"

Thanks.......... Robert

That is really pretty. The design itself would look great even if the handle were plain and there was no hamon on the blade. Then you add that really interesting grain on that bit of bocote, plus the hamon that lines up almost exactly with the bottom of the handle, and those three pins that add just the right amount of contrast, and you've got an outstanding knife. I'd say more, but if I don't stop talking about how much I like it, I'll wind up buying it and I'm not supposed to be buying any more this month. Great job, Robert.

This one arrived today at it's new home, and I can say without reservation that it more-than-does justice to the photo.

Truly fine work, and the nicest fixed-blade I own...:)

That must have been a back door sale. If if had gotten up here I'd have had it!
Bob, That's nice work!

It was actually posted right here...no back door...I just happened to see it at the right time and jumped on it as soon as I saw it...:D

With this one, I knew I'd better not hesitate or it'd be gone, and it really spoke to me!

Ray :)
