This is a nice EDC with 1084.

I forged it out of some 1084 bar, and clay quenched it for a very bold hamon. The spine is also fileworked, and the flats have the forging finish on them.

The handle is some very nice cocobolo. They are held in place with 3 normal and one mosaic pin (and epoxy, of course)

The sheath is leather and uses my "H" style belt loop that allows for horizontal and vertical ambidexterous carry.

The little black smudge on the belly of the tang, is a little #3 that I put on there with a marker to be able to match it up with the sheath. (I make the sheaths in groups and wanted to make sure that the right knife went with the right sheath) I didn't notice it before I took the picture, but just rubbed it off with my finger right now, so the tang is nice and clean.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 8"

Price - $185 shipped to CONUS. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first "I'll take it!" gets it.

Matt, Thanks for this knife. The fit and finish are perfect. The file work is great and the blade handsome with the forging left on the flats.

Not long, I think, before we start seeing the Journeyman Smith stamp on your work, Mr. Bailey. Fantastic, as usual.

as quickly as his knives sell i think he would have already surpassed that, like a 12 year old heading to college.
