Forged 1084 EDC Recurve

This one is hand forged 1084, clay quenched to reveal a very bold hamon. The spine is fileworked.

The handle consists of black linen micarta bolsters with a natural canvas micarta handle. The slabs are held securely with plain and mosaic pins and epoxy.

The sheath is leather and has my "H" style belt loop that allows for ambidexterous horizontal and vertical carry. The knife is held securely, but will still allow for an easy draw.

Blade - 3 3/4" tip to handle
OAL - 8"

I really like this sheath style. I stewed over how to make a leather sheath that was multi carry. I poked around with about 5 different loop designs before I came up with this one.
