This knife was forged from Aldo's 1084. It has stainless hardware, maple burl handle, spalted maple ferule stainless spacer. It is flat ground. Just shy of 7 inches from tip to guard and 12 inches overall.

After showing this knife to a fellow maker he said I could not call this knife a bowie because it was not large enough. So the unoficial name of this knife is "Not a Bowie". I love this knife but It does need a new home.
Price is (Sold pending funds) $165.00 sheath and shipping included.
The sheath is done and this knife is 100% ready to go.

Thanks for looking and any comments.

Dangit, I don't know what your on, Will, but I want some of it:D The last couple that you put up were really nice, but this one is superb:thumbup:

I like the "boxed" in handle shape with the slight corners - very classy. Great hamon too. It wont take long to ...."Get 'er sold!"

Here is an additional photo of this knife with it's leather sheath. This knife is still available for the taking.

Thanks for looking!

I always look for a pin if a knife will be used hard.
I am a great believer in epoxy in all forms . Loaded with high density fillers in can withstand a lot of pressure, but a pin says I will not come apart under any condition.
The knife and blade are a bargain and the pin is a personal thing with me.

Well done

I wanted to clarify that this is a stick tang knife with a peined on buttcapp. I assure you this handle is not coming off. Unless you really try anyway. Still I do understand some folks prefer full tang knives.

I am attaching a pic to show (at least sorta) the butt and also that the handle is not as square as it may look.

Thanks a bunch for looking folks.

Already received in Italy today. Great knife!
Superb fit and finish. Really. The pictures don't capture the finishing level. The knife in hand it's much better than on the screen, with no hidden flaws.

And.... it's sharp

Few seconds outside the sheat was enough to this nasty to taste my finger blood. :D
