Forged 1095 9.25" blade Differentially clay hardened to ~62 RcH with hamon. Full tang, cocobolo handle slabs and 3/16" copper pins. Sharpened all the way to the heel, so every part of the edge can make contact with the board and cut. The spine is slightly rounded at the base, but sharp higher up for scraping. Almost flat convex geometry is extremely sharp, holds the edge well, and is easy to maintain. Handle slabs taper at the top for an easier grip.
