Forged from old stock (early 1970'S) 1 1/2" round bar this knife is meant to be used. This one has been differentially heat treated by clay coating the back of the blade to make a hard edge that will hold an edge and a softer spine for toughness. I have been getting some requests for a lower maintenance carbon steel knife so I went with G10 scales, stainless steel screws and had Cerakote applied to the 1095 carbon steel blade. The Cerakote has been applied to reduce a lot of the maintenance associated with a carbon steel blade. So here is what I came up with,

Steel: Forged 7/32" 1095 differentially heat treated
OAL: 9 3/4"
Blade Length: 4.50" tip to plunge cut
Handle: OD Green/ Camo Green G10
Screws: Stainless Steel
Sheath: Black Kydex with small Tek-Lok system
Coating: Tungsten Cerakote
Blade has nice distal taper

svbk556, I am sure there is one but I did not even want to look on this one as I knew I was doing the Cerakote and if I saw a hamon I would have surely polished it out LOL.
