Here's one that's designed to work hard and do the job. The 1095 blade is edge quenched with a really nice transition line. It's shape allows you to move ahead of the guard for better control in tight areas without loosing a finger. The handle is osage orange, brass guard and butt cap, leather spacers and a threaded through tang. Sheath is veg-tan and custom fit to this knife. Spec's are:
OAL: 9"
Blade: 3 1/2" cutting edge
Width: 1 1/2"
Thickness: 3/32"
Price: $ 180 includes shipping CONUS. PayPal (ruger315@bellsouth.net), check or money order.

Rick, I can't stop looking at this knife. It is beautiful. Sheath too. Really fine work sir!

Thanks for the good comments! I'm going to give this one a day or so to sell and if it doesn't, it'll stay at my house.

great knife, and I particularly like the osage handle
how did you finish the wood

deltablade: The handle is finished with 600g paper, several applictions of Tung oil to seal it and the leather spacers. Last thing is buffing with pink no scratch rouge and a couple layers of paste wax.
