Forged 1095 carbon steel, Clay heat treat, with vivid temperline (MUCH better in person than pics show).
Forged from 1/8" stock, full tang, blade is just over 4.5", overall is 8-3/8", Claro Walnut handle, very thin/keen edge. That's a great lookin' piece of steel there, Matt! :)

Just in case anyone is wondering, I picked up a 'kitchen knife' from Matt and it's the sharpest piece of steel that I ever used to fix dinner. If Matt says that the edge is thin and it'll slice and dice, ya better believe it!!! :eek:

If I wasn't laid up and not working, that bad muther would be all MINE!!! :D
 
thanks Dudley, actually your knife has a thicker convex edge, this particular knife for sale has a zero ground edge, and was sharp before i even "sharpened" it. :)

BTW the riccasso isnt that "grey" as the second photo would indicate.
