Hello everyone, my first piece for sale as a bladesmith here on the forums. The blade is forge 5160, the blade is just over 6 inches, and the overall length is 11 inches perfect. The blade is 0.180 at the ricasso and has distal taper to the tip. The spine and the ricasso both are radiused.

The handle is the main conversation piece of the knife; a English made Sambar stag tobacco pipe made in the early 1900's by a small English pipe maker. I don't know if the stag pipes were more collectible than functional, I don't know if the stag holds up to burning tobacco very well, possibly somebody who is a casual pipe smoker may fill us in on this one, but I do not smoke, so this was a better use of the pipe for me. The pommel of the pipe is where the bowl would have been drilled out and the top of the handle towards the ricasso is where it connects to an ebonite stem and mouthpiece.

The tang is threaded with a pommel nut, and all the fittings, with an exception of the copper spacer, are 1018. An intesting piece in my opinion, and probably the only one I'll ever be able to do, not everyday I find a Sambar Stag pipe like this. Comes with a leather sheath.

Price is $275.00 USD + $12.00 USD for shipping CONUS. My PayPal email is marcotte.jaden@gmail.com
Thanks for looking.
