So I forged this out of a bar of 5160. I did an aged finish on because it allows you to cut and doesnt scratch up the blade surface.

The handle is blackened oak. It is mortised tang and held together with glue, and the wrap, and a pin. The wrap is mico-paracord and regular paracord, soaked in epoxy. It is solid and provides a good grip.

The sheath is 7-8oz leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife securely and allows for an easy draw.

Dimensions
Blade - 8 1/2" tip to handle
OAL 15"

Price - $225 shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.

I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.

That's an awesome gesture Matt. That's also a great looking knife made out of some tuff stuff. It looks like your plan also worked out well, they will most likely sell like hotcakes at those prices and this one did just that.
