Here is one of my antiqued forged camp/hunter knife. I forged it out of a bar of 5160, ground and heat treated the blade, then I gave it an antiqued finish. It allows the knife to be used heavily, and doesn't mark or scratch it up.

The handle is mortised tang out of oak, milled out for the tang, glued together, and wrapped with micro paracord and then soaked in epoxy. The knife is held in place with JB weld and a pin.

The sheath is kydex, with a leather belt loop. The loop is removable so it can be a right hand or left hand sheath. The knife snaps in solidly and pops out with a push of the thumb.

Dimensions
Blade - 5 3/4" tip to handle
OAL - 12"

Price - $Sold shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.

I will have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.

That's an awesome setup Matt, I really like the way you made that sheath to be able to be used for a righty or lefty. Also kydex will be better for those cool knives with that finish and good old 5160 too. Great job,

Doug

I love the rugged / rustic look but exceptional fit and finish as well. Please keep making more of these designs !!

That is a good looking knife. Nice size. Would look really good with leather wrap and leather sheath also.
