outdoorskid92, who the fuck do you think you are? you only have 5 posts and all of them are questioning pricing and being negative. do you have any idea what it takes to make a knife and leather sheath like that. if not i suggest you stop posting in peoples threads.

I agree that outdoorskid92's post on this thread was in EXTREMELY poor form and he should be called out for it.

However, in fairness, I read his five posts and IMO only two of them were "questioning pricing and being negative."

Oh, and BTW, nice knife (and sheath), Rick!

It is obvious that outdoorskid92 had never made a knife, or at least never made one anywhere near the quality of Rick's. The sheath is outstanding and the knife is also amazing . I would say it was either priced just right or underpriced a bit. Great work Rick.

break it down... shipping 12-15 dollars, Sheath is at least 40.00 if not 50.00, that leaves about 150.00 for a knife with hidden tang and guard ( tons of work) and a hand sanded blade... its an outstanding value...

Nice work!

I sorta doubt that the "Kid" will read these posts. I think he is a "hit-and-run" poster that never goes back to his original post.

The poor "Kid" doesn't really have a clue about hand made knives. I don't know much about hand made knives either, but I do know that Rick doesn't charge enough for his work. Rick is a friend of mine, and you won't find a more sincere knife maker anywhere that genuinely tries his best to make a quality product.

I know that we are not supposed to "chat" in this forum, but "dang", a few of us just have to stand up and say "WTF".

If I am out of line, I apologize, and Markster, if you need to, please delete this post.

Just got in the house and read this thread. First, everybody is fully entitled to their opinion on price and then the option to buy or not. The "Kid" may be just that and not aware of the good manners that this forum adheres to most of the time. Great place to sell and great place to buy. Let's let him learn from this and become a solid asset in this forum.

With that said, gotta give so much thanks to all you guys that jumped up in defense. It's the same for me here as it is for all the other makers trying to do their art and cover costs. Tough times for both buyers and sellers right now. Only point of contention I have in all this is Robert saying he don't know much about making knives. If he didn't, I wouldn't own one he made. Great guy, great maker and a friend. 'Nuff said on this. Let's get on to the next box of chocolates.
Thanks Mark!

I sent him a PM. Rick , Great knife at a fair price. Wonder what he would say about my pricing?

Rick,

Thats beautiful. Shoot, I've bought three knives this week from this forum or I would buy it. Great value!
