This is a bit bigger than what I usually post up here. It's forged 5160 with a beautiful piece of curly maple for the handle. The blade stays thick right to the belly and then has a good quick distall taper. Since the weight is slightly forward, it will be a good all around for hunting or camp use. These pictures can't show the really deep figure of the maple. In the sun they look a foot deep. The guard is brass with a buffalo horn and copper spacer. I was hoping the brass and copper pins would highlight the 1/4" mosaic pin. Spec's are:
OAL: 10 1/4"
Blade: 4 7/8" to ricasso, 6" over all
Width: 1 1/4"
Thickness: 5/32"
Handle: Curly maple, brass guard, copper and buffalo spacer, mosaic, copper and brass pins.
Price: $250.00 includes shipping in the CONUS and a sheath. PayPal, money order or check.SOLD,THANKS MARTIN!

I think I'll have to try wrapping my big paws around that one :)

Looks like allot hand made craftsmanship went into that one.

You don't see a knife like that everyday

Thanks to everybody for the good words. Got to get a sheath made and send this one up Canada way.

I'll let you know what it feels like, I got a feeling it's a beauty

I saw several of Rick's in the past and always liked the look of them, he doesn't post that often so I thought I'd better snag this one.

Man. Fine looking knife. I'm loving the sheppards cross!!!!

Rick has had several nice knives here recently. The damascus hunter was very desirable too. This one was nicer.
Another Superposed is calling though.;)

Know that feeling. Smith & Wesson has been calling me lately. It's never-ending.

Great choice Martin!

It's one of the nicest knives I have ever owned and a first class cross draw sheath for the knife. . Looks to be top notch workmanship, the condition of the knife and sheath are flawless.

The blade size is what I like nowadays, nice 5" cutting edge.

Very nice handle shaping and contours on the grip, I could have those contours on any knife, I really like them.

My hand fills the entire topside and bottom side of the handle. It's a very snug fit with what some see as a big handle, if it was any smaller it wouldn't work to tell you the truth, another 1/2" of wood length would have been great for me.

The pictures look good but to see the knife and sheath in real life, awesome. The knife and sheath are stunning.

Good choice Spearz,i thought about that one as well, but you were faster to
pull the trigger.I would really like to see it with the sheath, can you post a
picture?thanks
Marc

I tried out the cross draw sheath today.

It must be one of the most comfortable sheaths I have ever had, standing or sitting, it always seams to ride in a nice sweet spot thanks Rick.

I can't take a picture right now, don't have the camera for computers. I'll try to get a friend over.

Cheers :)
