I forged this out of a bar of 5160, put a durable antique finish on it. It allows for heavy use and maintains the original look.
The handle is oak, mortised tang that is held together with glue, flared tubing, peened pins, bedding epoxy, paracord wrap and another epoxy soak. It fits the hand well and allows for good grip and purchase.
The sheath is kydex with a removable belt loop that can be moved to either side for a right or left side carry. The slots also allow it to be strapped to a pack.
