What many knifers don't yet know is that Bruce Culberson makes The Best performing user knives you can find at any price.
There are a few knifemakers whose knives perform as well as Bruce's, but of my over 100 Custom fixed blades (most much higher priced), none perform better. His knives have been entered in cutting & chopping contests and they win or come in second (once).
I'm posting this because you can't see it in the pictures, even though this is a really fine looking knife. Sharing one's experience with knives is an important part of BF, so i'm not doing this because Bruce is a nice guy, but to help others choose a knife that is right for them.
Bruce: elk antlers will eventually get sent. I've been just way to busy 'putting out fires'.

Blade shape, grind, scales (and materials), blade material (52100), and sheath - you've created a very nice knife. It speaks to me. Thanks. Mike

Boy Bruce very nice and clean look. I am sure being in 52100, it cuts like a champ. One question, how did you heat treat it?

Thanks for the comments guys!

Boy Bruce very nice and clean look. I am sure being in 52100, it cuts like a champ. One question, how did you heat treat it?

First the blade was normalized 3 times. Then I heated it to 1550F, quenched into oil, and into the freezer over night. Next day heated to 1525F, quenched, freezer. Third day heated to 1500F, quenched, freezer. The triple tempered (1 hour each) at 400F. Here is a review on a smaller knife I made in 52100:

Great looking blade. Also like the look of that Muck you linked to on previous post.

I'm surprised that this one took awhile to sell because Bruce's knives are just so good in every aspect.
Random, you will be very impressed when you feel this knife inhand and when you use it to cut whatever you need to.
Please post back and let us know how pleased you are.
